Junior Business Analyst (Regulatory / Legal experience required) – Global Transformation - MA/4436
This is a great career opportunity to move into an entry level Business Analysis role gaining experience working within Legal and Regulatory change analysis within a Global Transformation function.
Regulation is key focus for this Asset Manager. In this role you will provide professional, regulatory change analysis within the Global Transformation function to deliver the clients’ regulatory projects such as SM&CR and the replacement of LIBOR. You will be part of a project team responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of defined objectives are achieved to agreed time, quality, budget and in accordance with sponsor expectations, being mindful of project portfolio cross dependencies. In your role you will continue to build the Global Transformation brand by working should to shoulder with business partners and demonstrating valued, delivery excellence.
This role will offer you the opportunity to:
Implement new and effective solutions to regulatory changes in a company that has Regulation as a key focus
Gain exposure to the senior management
Work in a flat structure, directly with Heads of Business, which enables effective decision-making.
Your responsibilities will include:
Focusing on the clients’ regulatory projects and change initiatives such as GDPR and SM&CR.
Interpretation of regulatory requirements and working with the business to implement agreed solution in line with the Clients defined Global Delivery Lifecycle.
Delivery of analysis and acceptance testing components of projects as defined to a successful outcome.
Clear, accurate and comprehensive documentation produced and signed off, including project documentation, Operating Models and procedures.
Ensure all external and internal risk, compliance and legal standards are met.
Develop and deliver projects that contribute to the development of a robust, scalable and cost efficient regulatory environment within the firm and a strong control environment.
Process and Service improvements are delivered which improve efficiency and reduce risk.
Experience of working within a legal function or working closely alongside said function.
Involvement in a successful project delivery either as the nominated business expert or business analyst.
Experience in the financial services industry – preference for Asset/Investment Management background
Effective stakeholder management
University graduate (or equivalent)
Process improvement and reengineering skills
Good understanding of the regulatory environment financial service firms operate within
Delivery focus with ability to work to tight deadlines
Ability to cater for a diverse and fluid work slate
Trouble shooting & getting things done in a large changing organization
