A great opportunity for a talented Technical Support Engineer has arisen with our client in Maidenhead! The Technical Support Engineer will join a highly successful software company who pride themselves on building award-winning data solutions based on the Microsoft stack. The Technical Support Engineer / Application Analyst is a vital role within the company: you’ll provide high quality technical support, helping solve technical and software related problems The ideal Technical Support Engineer will have experience supporting enterprise applications as well as experience analysing app logs, and creating user guides.


Responsibilities include:

• Become a Product Expert for customers.
• Working with customers to answer questions and solve technical issues, often working through detailed and comprehensive diagnostic data and stack traces to find the root cause of an issue.
• Working with colleagues to log product improvements and bugs.
• Contributing to projects across the company.
• Producing and reviewing documentation.


Key Skills and Experience:

We’re looking for an experienced technical support engineer who has worked in a growing, fast paced software company. You’ll be ambitious, thrive on change, love a challenge, and have great customer service at your core.

Essential
• Proven experience delivering software/techncial support solutions (ideally enterprise applications)
• Experience with Enterprise monitoring tools and practices
• Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, Azure, SQL, IIS
• Experience with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)

• Knowledge of software development practices like Agile
• Case management systems
