Business Analyst, User Stories, Agile, Process Improvement

Our client, a global giant within their industry, are seeking an experienced Business Analyst who can perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications. The Business Analyst will be responsible for the support, maintenance and oversight of their core application domain with a focus on understanding of business processes. The Business Analyst will also drive roadmap planning, partnering with the key business functions and applications teams to provide consultancy for system and process improvements.

The Business Analyst will have the following responsibilities:

• Requirements elicitation and documentation, using User Stories
• End-to-end requirements management and traceability, both functional and non-functional
• Benefits and Impact analysis, both business and technical, working closely with Architects and Solution Designers (internal and suppliers)
• Working with Data Analysts to identify data sources and design self-serve dashboards
• Documentation of Acceptance Criteria and working closely with technology & business teams to ensure solutions meet the requirements
• Experienced of Integration Tools sets Cloud Contact Centre as a Solution (CcaaS) or similar platforms
• Understanding of REST, JSON and other data integration tech
• Experienced in creating mapping specifications for API Integrations
• Ability to communicate effectively, e.g. explain integrations to both technical and non-technically minded customers
• Coordination of and hands-on assistance with User Acceptance Testing
• Senior stakeholder communication and relationship management, up to Director level
• Working closely with vendor representatives, both technical experts and product managers
• Functional and technical experience with Cloud Contact centre as a Service (preferably NICE inContact) such as ICM, IVR/ACD, WFM and Call Manager or any other leading similar contact centre platforms
• A strong understanding of Telecoms and Telephony based solutions
• Ideally has worked for a company where contact centre is deployed or migrated from one platform to another
• Understanding of Omni-channel contact centre solutions such as web chat, email, SMS, Social media etc. will be desired (not a must).
• Willingness to explore emerging technologies such as AI/ Cloud solutions and how they can be applied to evolve the Contact centre solution
• General understanding of Unified Communications

The Business Analyst will have some of the following Qualifications:

• Someone who has previously worked in an agile project team and documenting requirements using User Stories.
• Proven requirement gathering skills
• Strong evidence of analysis techniques covering all phases of the project lifecycle, both Agile and Waterfall, across Technology and/or Business Change.
• Experience of delivering change in a Client Servicing and/or Service Centre environment.
• Any amount of background in Information Analytics area of project delivery or in similar areas of business.
• Agile Business Analysis training or relevant qualifications.
• Knowledge or practical use of project management tools (Jira and Confluence preferred).
• Experience Power BI or other self-service reporting dashboards tool.
• Understanding of contact centre technology and telephony solutions.
