SalesForce Developer, 6 months, London or Middlesex - JO/1099

Experience in writing code and executing technical, analytical and configuration tasks is expected. We really want people with experience in code versioning (such as GIT), automated deployment processes (such as Jenkins), experience in Agile (such SCRUM or KANBAN), appreciation of Agile software (such as JIRA or Team Foundation Server). Awareness of DX would be preferable and experience in Lightning is essential.
All candidates will need to provide details of SalesForce specialities on such as Force.com, Communities etc, with the associated number of years’ experience.
This role is part of an Agile delivery team – this role will include being flexible to enable success of business outcomes across testing, development, analysis and technical design and deployment.
This role is part of an Agile organisation which has been practicing Agile via Scrum and Kanban for the last seven years, using geographically dispersed teams. The role will include being flexible to enable success of business outcomes across documentation, planning, testing, development, analysis and technical design and deployment.
SalesForce Developer responsibilities will include:
Designing, developing and supporting application solutions (assisting in production issue resolution)
Assisting post production deployment and support to a (potentially global) user community
Compliance with defined code and documentation standards, including peer review of code and documentation of code changes
Re-engineering highly complex program components including code generation
Integrating software packages residing on multiple platforms using Mulesoft
Understand / review User Stories written in “As A, I want, So That” and translate into program specifications
Where appropriate define / review technical specifications
Participation in decisions regarding the integration of software packages and programs
Performing testing activities including 80%+ unit test coverage and 75%+ levels of automated testing
Translation of business requirements into program specifications and writing code from User Story and the ability to deliver against GIVEN THEN WHEN criteria.
Participation in broader Chapter of work within the companies SalesForce knowledge.
Primary use of WIKI and self-documenting code to hold knowledge rather than legacy file formats
Preferably experience working with UX / UI as part of Design Thinking Workshops
This role is paying current market day rates and will be for 6 months with the option to renew/extend.
