A new opportunity for a client-focussed Customer Support Engineer (Azure, Server. IIS, SQL) has arisen with our client in Maidenhead!

The Customer Support Engineer will join a successful and Agile software company who pride themselves on building award-winning software solutions based on the Microsoft stack deployed in the Azure cloud. The Microsoft Support Engineer is a vital role within the company as you’ll be tasked with will provide high quality technical customer support, helping solve techy problems relating to the products which are built on MS .NET. The ideal Technical / Microsoft Support Engineer will have experience supporting enterprise applications as well as experience analysing app logs, and creating user guides for large clients including the likes of Microsoft, Cisco, Bupa and Delloitte.


Key Skills and Experience:

We’re looking for an experienced technical support engineer who has worked in a growing, fast paced software company. You’ll be ambitious, thrive on change, love a challenge, and have great customer service at your core.

Essential
• Proven experience delivering software/technical support solutions (ideally enterprise applications)
• Experience with Enterprise monitoring tools and practices
• Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, Azure, SQL, IIS
• Experience with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)
• Knowledge of software development practices like Agile
• Case management systems


The Customer Support Engineer will be responsible for:

• Being a Technical Support / Product Expert for customers.
• Working with customers to answer questions and solve technical issues, often working through detailed and comprehensive diagnostic data and stack traces to find the root cause of an issue.
• Producing and reviewing documentation.
• Working with colleagues to log product improvements and bugs.
• Contributing to projects across the company.
